Liu Wen is China's first international supermodel and one of the most influential Asian faces in fashion. Born in 1988 in Yongzhou, Hunan, she was discovered in Beijing in 2007 and made her international runway debut the following year for houses including Burberry, Chanel and Jean Paul Gaultier.

Her career has been defined by firsts. In 2009 she became the first model of Asian descent to walk the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, and in 2010 the first Asian spokesmodel for Estée Lauder. In 2013 she became the first Asian model on Forbes' list of the world's highest-paid models, and in 2017 she appeared on the cover of American Vogue. At her peak she walked 74 shows in a single season.

After a three-year break, Liu returned to the runway in 2023 to close Prada's Fall/Winter show. She has worked with houses including Chanel, Bulgari, Prada and Tiffany & Co., and remains a fixture on the international runway, covering W China's 2026 Model Issue.
