- Description
Audrey Hu is Editor-in-Chief of DAZED CHINA and a fashion editor, stylist and creative director whose career has spanned some of China’s most influential fashion publications. Her previous roles include Fashion Director at Vogue China and contributing Fashion Director at W China, alongside earlier experience at Dutch fashion house Viktor & Rolf.
After returning to China, Hu worked across Vogue China, Modern Weekly, Numéro China and Wallpaper China, contributing to both local and international shoots and productions. These roles placed her at the center of the period when Chinese fashion media was becoming more globally connected and visually ambitious. In 2019, she was named among the British Fashion Council’s New Wave: Creatives, recognizing a new generation of image-makers influencing fashion internationally.
Her editorial work combines a global fashion vocabulary with a strong understanding of China’s own creative scene. Through STUDIO CREATURE, Hu also works beyond traditional publishing, collaborating with mainstream and independent media and providing styling and creative services to Chinese designer brands. That dual role — editor and independent creative — allows her to shape both the images audiences see and the ecosystem producing them.
