- Description
Vincent Djen is a Shanghai-based garment-industry executive working to make circular fashion fun and scalable. He is Director of CKG (Cheng Kung Garments), the family-owned garment manufacturer his parents founded in Hong Kong in 1975, and co-founder of China Textile Recycling.
Born in Hong Kong and educated in California, Djen has been based in Shanghai since 2005. Through CKG he works with factory partners across China and has produced apparel for international fashion brands including GANT, Filippa K and GANNI.
His focus has increasingly turned to circularity. China Textile Recycling collects, sorts and recycles post-consumer textiles in China, and Djen previously helped lead REMAKEHUB, which advised on apparel sustainability and developed nylon made from recycled fishing nets. He has also contributed to industry work on circular clothing design and is a longtime member of Entrepreneurs' Organization.
