Sherry Huang is a fashion entrepreneur and cultural innovator who founded ENG concept store in 2019. Educated at Peking University and Istituto Marangoni, she developed ENG around a curatorial model in which retail operations and cultural programming run in parallel rather than as separate activities.

The store’s identity is built around the ideas of Explore, Navigate and Generate. Under Huang’s direction, ENG has combined global designer partnerships with avant-garde art exhibitions, youth-oriented music projects and sustainability initiatives, creating an ecosystem that sits at the intersection of fashion, art, music and subculture. That approach has helped position ENG as more than a point of sale. It has become a cultural platform for Chinese consumers seeking discovery and community, while also giving international independent designers a route into China’s fast-moving youth market.

Huang’s influence has been recognized internationally through the BoF 500, Vogue Business 100 Global Innovators and the Vogue Business China Innovator Award. In 2026, ENG was named among BoF’s Best Independent Fashion Stores in the World, reinforcing Huang’s role in redefining what independent fashion retail can mean in China.
