Tianwei Zhang is the London/China Market Editor at WWD, covering stories from Europe, Asia and beyond. Over more than a decade, he has become an important voice in business reporting on Chinese fashion.

He began his career at 17 as a freelance fashion writer in China, contributing to the Chinese editions of Vogue, Elle, Harper's Bazaar and GQ, as well as Modern Weekly. Zhang moved to the U.K. in 2013 and earned a master's degree in fashion journalism from Central Saint Martins. Before joining WWD in 2019, he launched and managed the China edition of The Business of Fashion.
