Leslie Zhang is a Shanghai-based photographer and director whose painterly, cinematic images have made him one of the most sought-after Chinese image-makers working with global luxury houses. Born in Yangzhou in 1992 and raised between Yangzhou and Nanjing, he studied film editing and is largely self-taught as a photographer.

He was named to the British Fashion Council's NEW WAVE: Creatives list in 2018 and the Dazed 100 in 2019, and is a member of the BoF 500. His editorial work has appeared in Vogue China, Harper's Bazaar, GQ, Dazed and A Magazine Curated By, and his photobook Les Lies collected his work from 2015 to 2017.

His commercial clients include Byredo, Chanel, Dior, Giorgio Armani, Louis Vuitton, Maison Margiela, Moncler, Prada and Thom Browne. He photographed and directed Prada's 2024 Lunar New Year campaign starring Du Juan and Zhao Lei at Prada Rong Zhai, and served as creative director of PARCO's Spring 2025 campaign.
