In 2025, the eight-day holiday travel season generated 501 million domestic trips, up 5.9% year-on-year, with tourism spending rising 7% to 677 billion RMB ($93 billion). Collaborations offer a high-impact moment for brand visibility, gifting demand, and cultural relevance. For 2026, most brands have pivoted to solo capsule collections rather than join forces with Chinese talent. Some, however, have adopted the collaboration model to build authentic connections. Here are the standout tie-ups of Year of the Horse 2026. Barbour x Feng Chen Wang Buzzy Fujian province-born designer Feng Chen Wang teamed up with Barbour for the first time to design a capsule collection. Launched January 9, the ready-to-wear line, from T-shirts and caps to classic wax jackets and shirts, marries British countryside tradition and Eastern mythology. Robert Wun x Johnnie Walker Johnnie Walker partnered with Hong Kong–born, London-based fashion designer Robert Wun on a limited-edition design inspired by the auspicious symbolism of the horse and the layered complexity of Johnnie Walker Blue Label. Brand collabs Burberry x De Gournay Burberry is turning its store windows into horse-themed art galleries via a collaboration with British wallpaper atelier de Gournay. Farfetch x Ami Paris Retailer Farfetch is marking CNY 2026 with an exclusive campaign featuring a curated collection created in collaboration with Ami Paris. Comprising sweaters, hoodies, T-shirts and shirts adorned with horse motifs and embroidered logos, the collection launched globally on January 19, and will be available for three weeks. The campaign combines festive symbolism with luxury and streetwear, alongside a wider edit including partywear and pieces from brands such as Burberry and Diesel.
