Arc’teryx has opened registration for the 2026 Yangshuo (阳朔) International Climbing Academy, running October 22-25 at China’s best-known outdoor climbing destination. First held in 2023, the academy follows the model of Arc’teryx’s global academies in Chamonix and Squamish. This year’s program features 18 athletes and alpine guides teaching 37 courses across 22 categories, covering multi-pitch, big wall and dry tooling. The roster includes Japan’s Sachi Amma, ice climbing pioneer Will Gadd, Americans Jesse Huey and Quentin Roberts, Korea’s Minyoung Lee, Canada’s Emilie Pellerin and Chinese climbers He Chuan and Zhou Peng. New courses cover traditional protection, aid climbing and route development.
