Event Watch: Fashion’s Night Out In Four Chinese Cities

(Vogue China) Along with global fashion centers such as New York, Paris, Milan, and London, worldwide nighttime shopping extravaganza Fashion’s Night Out Night Out will be hitting China in September with events in Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, and Hangzhou. Sponsored by Vogue China, the annual event brings out top designers, supermodels, celebrities, and style aficionados to celebrate all things fashion in China with cocktails, discounts, free gifts, and live music. In the past, celebrities including Yao Chen, Yuan Li, Fan Bingbing, Dong Jie, Huang Yi, Yan Ni, Deng Chao, and Zhu Zhu have made appearances. Retailers are now releasing their big plans for the night. In Hong Kong, program partner Lane Crawford will be hosting special features such as pop-up shops by lifestyle boutiques Kapok and Moustache, a curated “Punk Cult” space hosted by BLITZ, the exclusive launch of Chinese fashion blogger Han Huo Huo’s new book, complimentary monogramming, and trendy refreshments.
