    WeChat is becoming increasingly important in the luxury industry, from serving as a social media platform for brands looking to market to Chinese consumers, to having a burgeoning role in mobile commerce. To help business professionals better understand WeChat, CHat Shanghai is bringing together top experts for two days of talks, panel discussions, networking, and more September 1-2.

    Following a successful Beijing event in April, CHat is back for another round, this time at The Place in Shanghai. For those who missed the first CHat installment, the presenters at the first event have confirmed their return. The roster includes Andrew Schorr, founder of Grata, a company helping
    businesses run customer service and sales on WeChat, and Long Wong, the cross-border payment PM at Tencent, Shenzhen.

The schedule also includes interactive WeChat games and workshops, plus a Friday-night after party at Naked Hub. CHat Shanghai has partnered with online media company CNCREATE to transform the best of Shanghai's art scene into a digital feast for guests who join in for the evening festivities.
