Forum Brings Together Industry Leaders To Discuss Issues Facing China's Luxury Market Last Year's closing address from CEIBS President and Chengwei Ventures Chair Professor of Entrepreneurship, Dr. Pedro Nueno. The China-Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in Shanghai will hold its third annual Prestige Business Forum on April 16. The theme of this year's conference focuses on the "democratization of luxury" that has come about as a result of globalization, as well as the opportunities for wealth creation, new market segments, international travel and cultural convergence that are changing the landscape of the luxury industry. Previous forums discussed China's emerging role in the luxury industry and featured speakers like NE-Tiger's founder and chief art director Zhang Zhifeng and the CEO of Salvatore Ferragamo, Michele Norsa. With China's new status as the world's fastest-growing luxury consumer market, this year's Prestige Brand Forum aims to address the critical challenges facing the industry while turning an eye to the new business models that are currently arising.
