Loewe names Eva Baquedano as president for China

Loewe has appointed Eva Baquedano as president for China, based in Shanghai, replacing Mark Shorten, who led the market since 2023. Baquedano, who joined Loewe in 2019, previously served as managing director for Southeast Asia and Oceania, and has held roles at McKinsey & Company and Mango. Her appointment comes as the brand strengthens its China presence, including the opening of a Casa Loewe flagship in Shanghai. Owned by LVMH, Loewe reported revenue of 885.2 million euros ($920 million) in 2024, up 9.2% YoY.
