Chanel has appointed Jung Kook (Jeon Jung-kook), a member of the global K-pop group BTS, as its Global Ambassador for Fragrance and Beauty. The first campaign, showcasing Chanel’s perfume and makeup collections, launched across the brand’s global platforms and stores on the day of the announcement. Jung Kook is recognized for his strong influence among Gen Z consumers, particularly in Asia. As a solo artist, Jung Kook has released hits including Seven (feat. Latto), which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2023, followed by his debut solo album Golden. He also performed Dreamers at the opening ceremony of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
