Susan Fang and Apple drop 3D-printed accessories

Chinese designer Susan Fang teamed up with Apple to release 3D-printed accessories for the brand’s latest devices. The launch is accompanied by the “Air-Evolution” exhibition in Shanghai. The collaboration features six accessories across Apple’s core product lines, designed with an “organic growth” concept and produced using 3D printing to achieve artisanal precision. Fang stated the process requires “full manual control — AI cannot replicate it.” This marks Apple’s second fashion partnership this year, following its collaboration with Issey Miyake, and represents Apple’s continued push into luxury-tech since launching its Hermès line in 2015.
