Australian luxury brand Zimmermann has opened its first store in southwest China, located in Chengdu’s Taikoo Li retail district. This is the brand’s fifth boutique in mainland China. The store’s design, created in collaboration with McQualter Studio, incorporates custom terrazzo flooring, textured terracotta exterior tiles, and vintage furnishings including a 1930s Murano glass chandelier. An owl sculpture by Australian artist Peter Cooley nods to the brand’s heritage. The space features dedicated sections for ready-to-wear and handbags, along with a VIP area and private appointment room. The opening coincides with the launch of Zimmermann’s Resort 2026 collection.
