German luggage brand Rimowa has unveiled its upgraded boutique in Chengdu’s Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li shopping district. Located in Jinjiang District, the 159-sqm store blends German Bauhaus design with traditional Chinese architectural influences. The exterior features limestone construction and dark timber framing. Inside, marble floors, wooden display cases, and aluminum-magnesium alloy details continue Rimowa’s minimalist aesthetic. A specially designed feature wall, a first for the brand’s global stores, incorporates green backing inspired by Cologne’s Hohenzollern Bridge. The store showcases Rimowa’s signature Original, Classic, Essential, and Hybrid luggage collections plus lifestyle products and professional repair services.
