Chinese Premier Li Qiang and Russian President Vladimir Putin announced plans for reciprocal visa-free travel during their meeting at the Kremlin on Tuesday. Putin confirmed Russia will “very soon” introduce visa-free entry for Chinese citizens, mirroring China’s recent decision to grant visa-free access to Russians holding ordinary passports from September 2025.
