Of these, 240,000 Chinese tourists visited Russia, while 340,000 Russian tourists traveled to China. The Russian Economic Development Ministry predicts that Chinese tourism to Russia in 2024 could return to pre-pandemic levels of two million in an optimistic scenario or increase by 30% to 40% in a conservative scenario.
