VF Corporation, the parent company of brands like Vans and The North Face, reported better-than-expected financial results for the second quarter of its fiscal 2025/26 year, with both sales and profits showing significant improvement. The apparel giant posted revenue of $2.8 billion for the quarter, a 2% increase compared to the same period last year. This growth was primarily fueled by strong performances from The North Face, with sales rising 6%, and Timberland, with sales increasing 7%. In contrast, Vans continued to struggle, with revenue declining 9% YoY. Offsetting this weakness, smaller brands like Altra delivered an outstanding performance with a 35% surge in sales. Adjusted operating profit grew 5% to $330.1 million, significantly surpassing management’s guidance.
