Joy Group, parent company of cosmetics brand Judydoll, has acquired Italian hair care brand Foltène as part of its expansion into professional hair and scalp care. Founded in the 1940s in Milan, Foltène specializes in hair growth products featuring patented technologies. This marks Joy’s second major move in hair care, following its operation of French brand René Furterer in China, which achieved 72% YoY revenue growth last year. The deal supports Joy’s presence in over 50 countries and positions the label to compete in global beauty markets.
