Jonathan Anderson debuts 1st Dior women’s show

Jonathan Anderson presented his first Dior womenswear collection for Spring/Summer 2026 on October 1 at Paris Fashion Week, winning a standing ovation for a show that blended house heritage with theatrical flair. The designer opened with a montage of Dior women across decades before unveiling 74 looks inspired by Shakespeare’s idea of life as a stage. Highlights included cropped bar jackets paired with pleated mini skirts, strapless gowns adorned with bows, and metallic straps inscribed with “Dior.” Anderson described Dior’s codes as “an invitation to embrace life’s drama and the power of fashion.” Appointed in June to succeed Maria Grazia Chiuri, Anderson is the first creative chief since Christian Dior to oversee womenswear, menswear, and haute couture.
