Balenciaga has closed its store at Shanghai’s Réel Department Store, marking the latest luxury brand to exit the location’s first floor following earlier closures by Moncler, Gucci, and Ferragamo this year. With this move, Balenciaga now operates six stores in Shanghai, including locations at Plaza 66, HKRI Taikoo Hui, IFC Mall, Grand Gateway, Taikoo Li Qiantan, and IAPM. Following Balenciaga’s departure, Kering Group now retains only two brands — Saint Laurent and Alexander McQueen — at Réel.
