Coty posts $409M loss after Kardashian brand exit

Beauty conglomerate Coty reported a net loss of $409 million in its fiscal Q3 2025, compared to a $500,000 profit a year earlier, as revenue fell 6% YoY to $1.3 billion. The loss mainly stemmed from a $71.1 million charge related to Kim Kardashian reacquiring her Skkn brand. High-end beauty sales fell 4% to $830 million while mass beauty dropped 9% to $470 million. Regionally, revenue declined 10% in the Americas, 3% in EMEA, and 5% in Asia-Pacific. Coty’s “All-in to Win” plan aims to cut $130 million in annual costs over two years, affecting around 700 roles.
