Swedish fashion brand Toteme opened its first flagship store in China, located in Beijing’s Sanlitun district. The store was designed in collaboration with Swiss architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron, recipients of the Pritzker Architecture Prize. The two-story corner building features a sculptural façade made of pleated white stone, combining smooth lines and detailed craftsmanship to create a striking presence in the busy commercial area. The design makes use of the original building’s proportions and integrates Toteme’s minimalist aesthetic with architectural elements, resulting in a space that emphasizes both visual impact and artistic expression.
