Schwarzkopf parent Henkel expands via Suzhou Boke deal
Henkel Group, the parent company of Schwarzkopf, announced this week that it has completed the acquisition of Suzhou Boke Biotechnology Co. Suzhou Boke will become Henkel’s exclusive production base, initially focusing on the manufacture of hair care products and laying the foundation for future expansion. In recent years, Henkel has been accelerating its hair care business in the Asia-Pacific region and China. In May of last year, Henkel acquired Procter & Gamble’s Vidal Sassoon Greater China business, and in 2022, it announced the acquisition of Shiseido Group’s professional hair care business in the Asia-Pacific region.
