Aeffe revenue drops 21.3% amid market challenges

Italian fashion group Aeffe reported a 21.3% drop in revenue for fiscal year 2024, with total sales falling to 250.8 million euros ($272 million) amid challenging market conditions. The ready-to-wear segment declined by 21.8% to 166.1 million euros ($180 million), while shoes and leather goods dropped 25.3% to 106.2 million euros ($115 million). All key regions saw double-digit declines, including Italy (-20.6%), Europe (-22.4%), America (-20.3%), and Asia (-21.4%). Despite the downturn, Executive Chairman Massimo Ferretti expressed confidence, citing the repositioning of Moschino and strategic adjustments at Alberta Ferretti. The company also announced the departure of Moschino CEO Goffredo Palmerini, who will leave by mutual agreement on March 31.
