Anzhu Cijian, an investment entity founded by Chinese hotel chain H World Group and real estate firm Everbright Ashmore, has secured investment from Hong Kong conglomerate Chow Tai Fook. This funding will fuel Anzhu Cijian’s expansion in China’s hotel and long-term rental apartment markets, focusing on first-tier cities. Established in 2019, Anzhu Cijian specializes in residential real estate, particularly acquiring and repositioning properties through renovations, eventually exiting via REITs. The company owns four limited-service hotels and has an ongoing development project. Chow Tai Fook Enterprises, which has a diverse portfolio including luxury properties like Rosewood Hotel and K11 shopping mall, aims to support Anzhu Cijian’s growth in mid-range hotels and rental apartments across China.
