Kering introduces new eco-design tool for packaging
Kering has introduced a new eco-design tool focused on packaging sustainability, developed in collaboration with Citeo+. This tool provides guidelines to help reduce reliance on single-use plastics and comply with European regulations. As part of its broader sustainability strategy, Kering aims to eliminate single-use packaging in both B2B and B2C operations by 2025. The company has already implemented some solutions, such as Gucci’s switch to reusable plastic boxes and Saint Laurent’s upcoming use of 100% FSC-certified paptic covers. The 75-slide eco-design tool is available on Kering’s website.
