Terry Zhu is the co-founder of DOE, the Shanghai streetwear and sneaker retailer he launched in 2014 as a locally rooted platform with a global point of view.

The store grew into one of Shanghai's defining street-culture destinations, pairing tightly curated international product with its own functional in-house line and collaborations that connected the city to a wider global network. From the beginning, Zhu and his partners positioned retail as more than commerce: the ambition was to create a landmark, shape taste and contribute something lasting to the city.

His influence sits in that ability to translate global sneaker and streetwear culture into a distinctly Shanghai context, helping build the local ecosystem from the ground up.
