Raised in Scotland and educated at King’s College London in French Literature and Film Studies, Yingge is a British-Chinese musician, actor, model and multidisciplinary creative whose work spans music, fashion, film and visual culture. His background across cultures and disciplines has become central to a practice that resists being contained within a single industry.

As a singer, songwriter, composer and producer, Yingge releases his own music while also writing and producing for leading artists across Asia. He also serves as Music Creative Officer at Adidas, a role that brings together his interests in sound, fashion and creative direction. His fashion profile is equally international. Yingge has appeared in global campaigns for Balenciaga, Valentino, Bottega Veneta and Tiffany & Co., while his wider creative work includes filmmaking, composition and projects with major fashion houses.

As an actor, he appeared in the award-winning film Her Story and has worked with directors including Wong Kar-wai. He is also the founder of 72 bpm, a conversation-led cultural project spanning podcasting, music and other cross-medium formats.
