Follows Zara And Coach In Launching Independent Branded Shop Coming off a tougher 2012 in China, this week Chow Yun Fat-fronted German fashion house Hugo Boss launched its official Chinese online store, following the lead of Coach and Zara in going it alone rather than partnering with a major international e-tailer. Stocking the brand's full menswear, womenswear and accessories collections, the online store offers a range of customer service options, among them e-mail, telephone, and live chat, with next-day nationwide shipping to top-tier cities. A popular cash-on-delivery payment option is available in nearly 200 major cities, and the site offers free returns within seven days. In celebration of the store's "grand opening," through March 31 Hugo Boss is holding a promotion awarding prizes including a limited-edition electric razor (7999 yuan value) and a trip for two to an upcoming Hugo Boss runway show in Shanghai (including round-trip flights and one night at a five-star hotel). Customers who register their personal information online will also get a 100 yuan gift certificate to use on purchases of over 1,000 yuan on the online store through March 31, and receive a free 2 mL sample of BOSS cologne with any purchase.
