Bobbi Brown Launches "Pretty Powerful" Campaign in China A senior Bobbi Brown make-up artist provided make-overs at the event. Cosmetics label Bobbi Brown's global "Pretty Powerful" campaign, emphasizing make-up as a confidence booster and natural beauty enhancer, has launched in China. The campaign, which compiled photos and videos of "real women" to illustrate the differing conceptions of beauty around the world, shows Bobbi Brown's friends transforming from "Pretty" to "Powerful" over the course of three days. Recently, Bobbi Brown held an event in Shanghai to promote the campaign. Coinciding with "Pretty Powerful," Bobbi Brown launched a limited edition cosmetics palette designed specifically for Chinese women in Shanghai. The Bobbi Brown limited edition re-issue palette features a warm power and soft powder, and two design series to better account for different skin tones and color combinations. Encased in a black compact, the all-weather makeup includes eye shadow, blush, and lip gloss. Bobbi Brown Corp has been part of the Estée Lauder family since 1995, and this limited edition release matches its parent company's overall strategy to make inroads in China, which we saw with Estée Lauder's recent launch of their Pure Color MetamorphosisChina-only compact and the appointment of Chinese supermodel Liu Wen as company spokesperson.
