Gucci has appointed Chinese actress Tian Xiwei (田曦薇) as its brand ambassador. The appointment follows her appearances in several of the brand’s campaigns and events over the past year, including promotions for the Borsetto and Paparazzo collections, an event in Singapore and a Qixi (Chinese Valentine’s Day) campaign. Tian, known for starring roles in “New Life Begins,” “Guardians of the Dafeng,” “Moonlit Reunion” and “Pursuit of Jade,” has more than 13 million followers on Weibo. She is expected to attend Gucci’s upcoming show during Milan Fashion Week in her new role, adding to the Italian house’s roster of Chinese celebrity ambassadors ahead of the Spring/Summer 2027 season.
