American streetwear label Ecko has opened its first immersive limited-time pop-up in China, “Unlimited, Never Back Down,” at Shanghai’s West Bund Dream Center. Drawing on the brand’s New York streetwear heritage, the space combines graffiti, hip-hop music and action sports in an interactive retail environment centered on its signature red rhino installation. The pop-up showcases Ecko’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection alongside its collaboration with Chinese actor and singer Wang Junkai (王俊凯), connecting the label’s longstanding street culture with contemporary design. The Shanghai opening is part of Ecko’s broader push to expand cross-category collaborations and strengthen connections with Gen Z consumers.
