South Korea’s largest offline cosmetics retailer CJ Olive Young has opened its first North America distribution center in Bloomington, California, ahead of its inaugural U.S. store debut in May. The approximately 3,600 sqm “America West Center” near San Bernardino will serve as a logistics hub for K-beauty brands entering the U.S. market, providing customs assistance, inventory management, and delivery services. Brands featured in Sephora’s “K-Beauty Zone” — curated by Olive Young — will benefit first. The retailer plans at least two more U.S. stores this year, including a location at Westfield Century City mall in Los Angeles.
