Hermès Shanghai Maison unveils ‘Wandering Spring’ display
Danish art studio Wang & Söderström has created “Wandering Spring” (漫春生), a new spring window display at the Hermès Maison in Shanghai, open March 5 through May 13. Using dreamlike colors and 3D-printed forms, the installation depicts day and night in a fantasyland where nature and technology coexist. The women’s window features a moonlit forest with Hermès silk scarf-winged moths; the men’s window portrays a sunlit forest where animals carry Hermès objects in a spring procession. The display aligns with Hermès’ 2026 annual theme, “Aspiring to the Vast” (心向辽阔).
