Lemaire loses 2nd senior exec in management shakeup

French designer brand Lemaire has confirmed the departure of Managing Director Laetitia Mergui, who joined in 2022 and collaborated closely with co-founders Christophe Lemaire and Sarah-Linh Tran. The brand has not disclosed the reason for her exit or named a successor. Mergui, a graduate of HEC Paris with experience at Balmain, The Kooples, and Chloé, specialized in Asian and Middle Eastern markets. Founded in 1991, Lemaire operates 16 standalone stores across six countries following Fast Retailing's 2018 stake acquisition. Her departure follows former COO and CFO Clarisse Godbillon’s recent move to Jacquemus, marking two consecutive exits from core management.
