LVMH has appointed Hugues Bonnet-Masimbert as the new chairman of Louis Vuitton China, replacing David Ponzo. An LVMH veteran since 1996, Bonnet-Masimbert previously served as global CEO of Rimowa from 2021, transforming the brand into a lifestyle accessories business. This marks LVMH’s second major China management adjustment in under a year, following former Apple executive Daniel DiCicco’s appointment as Greater China President in April 2025. The change comes as LVMH faces financial pressure, with 2025 revenue down 4.6% to 80.81 billion euros ($87.27 billion) and net profit declining 13%.
