Valentino appoints new chief marketing officer

Valentino has named Liran Peterzil as its new chief marketing officer, effective March 2. He will report to CEO Riccardo Bellini and oversee global brand strategy, marketing, communications, events, media relations, and brand experience. Peterzil brings more than 20 years of international experience in luxury, hospitality, and entertainment, having held senior roles at Richemont, Giorgio Armani, SBE Entertainment Group, and Creative Artists Agency (CAA).

He succeeds Yigit Turhan, who joined in 2018 and has left the company. The appointment continues CEO Bellini’s team-building since taking leadership on September 1; in December, Bellini named Laurent Bergamo as deputy CEO, a role he assumed after joining Valentino in 2018 from Tod’s.

Separately, Valentino appointed Davide Tosi as chief merchandising officer. He joins from Gucci, where he served as global chief merchandising officer for ready-to-wear.
