Italian luxury brand Prada announced Chinese actress and singer Li Landi (Landy Li) as its latest makeup brand ambassador. The announcement coincides with the launch of the label’s new “Nylon” blue cushion compact. Li, a Hui ethnic actress with 8.97 million Weibo followers, is best known for roles in My Huckleberry Friends, Wu Xin: The Monster Killer 2, The Starry Love, and the 2019 film Adoring. The collaboration positions the cushion compact, marketed for its soft-focus matte finish and long-lasting wear, as suitable for everyday makeup routines.
