Swiss watchmaker Longines has appointed Chinese actor Yu Shi as its Ambassador of Elegance. Yu is known for his role in the 2023 film Creation of the Gods I: Kingdom of Storms. He was featured in the announcement wearing Longines’ 2026 Lunar Year of the Horse limited edition watch. The timepiece is inspired by Xu Beihong’s painting Galloping Horse and is limited to 2,026 pieces worldwide. Longines said that Yu’s personal pace and progress align with the brand’s values of elegance and restraint. The star has over 4.16 million followers on Weibo.
