Aman Yihe Hotel Beijing (Aman Summer Palace) will cease its partnership with the Aman Group on December 29, 2025, and will be renamed Beijing Yihe Hotel. The hotel confirmed that all operations and guest bookings will continue unaffected. Originally Aman’s first property in China, the hotel opened in 2008 adjacent to the Summer Palace. While it has been a mainstay of Beijing’s luxury scene, it now faces stiffer competition from newer high-end brands. The hotel stated that after the change, it will introduce new cultural programming and experiences to establish its own identity. This shift occurs as the Aman Group pursues a global expansion strategy focused on branded residences.
