Tiffany & Co. has created the trophies and medals for top winners at this year’s Shanghai Marathon, including elite runners and the newly added wheelchair racing division. The trophies feature a runner breaking the finish line tape, with Shanghai skyscrapers engraved on the cups. The champion’s trophy stands 45.7cm tall and is made of sterling silver with 24K gold plating. Separate trophies were designed for the wheelchair racing champions. All trophies were handmade over four months at Tiffany’s Rhode Island workshop in the U.S., continuing the brand’s 160-year tradition of crafting awards for major sporting events.
