Adidas launches university sports community program with 12 Chinese universities
Adidas has established the Adidas University Sports Community (AUSC), partnering with 12 Chinese universities to deepen its campus presence. The initiative introduces the brand’s Teamwear customization and Locker Room platform to the university sports scene for the first time. The program debuted at the recent Adidas China University Road Running Relay Finals in Shanghai, where students experienced customized team uniforms through the new platform. Adidas executives stated the move reflects the brand’s “in China, for China” strategy, aiming to build a long-term sports ecosystem with universities rather than simply selling products.
