Japanese beauty giant Kosé Corporation announced three-quarter results showing net sales of 240.5 billion Japanese yen ($1.5 billion), up 0.7% YoY. Operating profit declined 27.8% to 13.5 billion yen ($84 million), attributed to foreign exchange losses. Flagship brand Decorté returned to growth in Q3 with an 8.1% sales increase, while Sekkisei dropped 15.1%. China market performance improved significantly with Q3 sales growing 20.9%, ending six consecutive quarters of decline. Tourism retail sales in China and South Korea increased 23.1% and 54.2%, respectively, in Q3. Kosé continues prioritizing China as a strategic market, recently showcasing new products at China International Import Expo.
