Songmont launches debut fragrance collection
Chinese fashion brand Songmont has launched its first fragrance collection, with a 30ml perfume priced at 1,280 RMB ($176). The move marks the brand’s expansion beyond leather goods into the competitive scent market. The “Chen Shan” (Sinking Mountain) collection was developed over two years with perfumer Yili, using rare agarwood as its core ingredient. The launch aligns with the brand’s philosophy of “be patient, and the fragrance will come naturally.” Founded in 2018, Songmont has grown from an online retailer to 14 physical stores in China and has appeared twice at Paris Fashion Week.
