Taobao, Tmall capture 57.5% of Double 11 apparel volume

Taobao and Tmall secured 57.5% of apparel transaction volume during Double 11’s (Singles’ Day) first phase, outpacing Douyin (26%) and JD.com (17%). The platform achieved 15.8% growth with brands including Uniqlo, Bosideng, Belle, and Ugg surpassing 100 million RMB ($13.8 million) in sales. Winter apparel excelled with over 10 million down jackets sold. Emerging brands like Stormcrew and Logicat saw transaction volume surge over 200% YoY, while Songmont exceeded 10 million RMB ($1.38 million) within 10 minutes.
