Jack McCollough, Lazaro Hernandez debut radical Loewe collection

Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez unveiled their first collection as Loewe’s creative directors, marking a significant shift for the Spanish luxury house. The collection radically reinterprets leather: jackets molded into bell shapes with heat-sealed gloss, while button-down shirts, jeans, and vests were recreated in pleated, spray-painted, or shredded leather mimicking denim. T-shirts were woven from leather yarn with elastic-looking ruffles. A trench coat featured silk-Gore-Tex hybrid fabric, while a 3D-printed dress mimicked towel softness. The debut fuses Spanish craftsmanship with modern experimentation.
