LVMH sells California resort for $82.2 million
LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton is set to sell its sole U.S. hotel property, the El Encanto in Santa Barbara, California, for $82.2 million. The 90-room coastal resort will be acquired by brothers Justin and Tyler Martin along with Culver Capital Partners. The deal values each room at approximately $900,000, aligning with pricing for similar high-end resorts along the California coast. An LVMH spokesperson declined to comment on the transaction details. The sale reflects LVMH’s focus on its core luxury goods businesses while maintaining selective hospitality investments.
