Chanel launches arts magazine for UK centenary
To commemorate its 100th anniversary in the U.K., French luxury house Chanel has launched a new arts and culture magazine highlighting its collaborations with artists and institutions over the past five years. The project is led by Yana Peel, head of arts and culture at Chanel and director of the Chanel Culture Fund. As part of the launch, Chanel temporarily took over the Foreign Exchange News site in London through June 28. The first issue of the 250-page English-language magazine will be distributed in 20 bookstores worldwide, including locations in Shanghai, Hong Kong, New York, Paris, and Tokyo.
